Let's talk about Forest View for a minute

Forest View is maybe the less famous subdivision of Pueblo de Oro Township, it comes from its location I suppose. It's a little below the other ones, going down to Canitoan but is still totally flood-free in case you wonder and the subdivision has not been affected during Sendong & Pablo.


In my case, I reckon I like Forest View and I will weigh its pros & cons to help you find out if it's your case also, you may then consider it when choosing your future home or no.

Cons:
  • The only public transportations available are shuttles for now, they go to SM.
  • Many people consider it as "a little far" to use their words, while I don't agree, I reckon it's the most "off-centered" subdivision of the township. To ponder that, let me remind you that it's still only 5 minutes from SM by car.

Pros:
  • You can enjoy fresh nights, if you come from Bukidnon like me, it'll remind you your place. Days are quite hot like in the rest of Cagayan de Oro though.
  • The trees surrounding the place offer a quiet & pleasant environment to people looking for a natural & relaxing place.
  • Houses & townhomes are really affordable compared to other subdivisions.
  • As I wrote above, Forest View Homes is flood-free & offers 24h security with guards & canine patrols.

I have a good news also, for all December, trippings will be possible up to 9pm.

Let's see what units may suit you now, I selected my three favorite ones to make things easier cause we all know it, too much choice makes decision making difficult even if it gives the contrary impression. :)

My pick for couples or small families with only one kid is the Vivienne model that gives you access to property at affordable cost.

One day in your new condo in Primavera Residences

It's Sunday and I wake up early, the habit of the week I suppose. I check on my left, my husband is still sleepy, a quick kiss and I go out of the bed without waking him up. I open slowly the door of the other room and my two angels are still dreaming also, I think I'll have my coffee alone.

The room

I take it on the balcony then and I can relax watching the hills around, the city starts to awaken and I'm deluded by its sound and the birds song, so nice. My darling pulls me out of my thoughts by kissing me in the neck! The day is starting very well, actually I could not expect better.

The view

The children are not long to follow their papa and they join us to enjoy this moment. After a cup of something, everybody go to the bath and we're ready to go to the Mass. Let's cross the street and go in SM, it's so convenient, the priest is really nice and the choir girls have incredible voices. We enjoy this privileged moment in harmony with God and continue with a breakfast in Jollibee.

As we are already in a mall, that'd be too bad not to go SHOPPING, I love it... and I suppose you do too. Finally I check my watch and it appears that we have roomed around in the stores all morning. We have a quick lunch SM and we live, we're 5 minutes walk of our next attraction of the day.

Let's go to Manresa Farm, the kids will love it for sure. We spend time watching the animals and we can also buy organic products from the farm like fresh milk, meat... As usual for weekends, it has been so enjoyable time with my other half and our two kids, I did not see the time passing and we already need to come back home.

We still have time to enjoy some activities and while my hubby goes to the gym, I go with children in the swimming pool where we have a very good time. For dinner, even if we have so much choice between the barbecues, pizzas and all other restaurants around, I decide to cook for my family, it's my way to tell them "thank you" for this wonderful day.

Camella's condo to rise soon in CDO

We had a meeting yesterday night in Camella and they gave us informations about their future project. It's an exciting one as it will be their first condominium here in Cagayan de Oro.

The building will be at least 20 storeys high and will take place in Limketkai area, it's actually a joint project of Camella & LKK.

I have not much more info and no photo for now but I'll keep you updated for sure.

I just got new pictures from Primavera residences, they show the view from the roof and it's definitely worth a look. This green condominium project in Upper Carmen, as you can expect, offers a wonderful panorama of Cagayan de Oro.
